KIB Concludes Collaborative Training Program for Fresh Graduates with Al Fintass and Sabah Al-Ahmad City Co-Operative Societies
Kuwait, 10 September 2023: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) concluded the Field Training and Part-Time Work Program for Fresh Graduates, which was organized in cooperation with Al Fintass Co-Operative Society and Sabah Al-Ahmad City Co-Operative Society. This training came within the framework of the Bank's strategy that aims to focus on training and qualifying participants to contribute to the work of the sales and customer service sector at KIB’s Retail Banking Department.
Commenting on the initiative, Head of Central Sales at KIB, Abdulaziz Al-Shammari, said: “This training program has achieved all the desired results. It enabled freshly graduated Kuwaiti youth to get substantive practical training and develop their skills in the banking field. It also provided them with basic expertise that would help them integrate into the labor market. During the program, which lasted for 60 days, KIB gave the participating trainees a cash reward and incentives for outstanding performance, in addition to accredited certificates confirming their participation and success.”
Al-Shammari praised the advanced training program, pointing out that it was dedicated to fresh graduates from a university or college with a diploma or high school, and residents of Al Fintass area or Sabah Al-Ahmad city. He added that this important initiative reflects KIB’s vision and constant effort to cooperate with all parties interested in empowering national youth and providing educational and training opportunities. He stressed that the end goal was to enhance their capabilities and contribute to building a prosperous society and a promising future for Kuwait.
It is worth noting that KIB spares no effort in cementing its position among top supporters of national youth talents. This reflects its goal to promote teamwork and unite efforts to reach sustainable development in society. Such a goal is achieved through organizing similar training initiatives and other community activities and events. Moreover, the Bank constantly seeks to provide young people with real job opportunities that keep pace with their professional aspirations in various sectors, especially the banking sector, as they work toward building a successful career.
