The much-anticipated model comes with its enhancements that offer customers even higher levels of sophistication, comfort, safety and connectivity.

The Nissan Patrol 2020 Launch was attended by Al Babtain Group CEO Mr. Saleh Al Babtain and The Chairman Mr. Khaled Al Babtain, the ICONIC SUV was unveiled in the midst of its media partners and senior delegates from Al Babtain Group and Nissan Middle East. Revealing the transition of the iconic model across six generations, the attendees experienced the journey of each model and its heritage through the respective displays.

The new Patrol features striking new design, enhanced luxury features and the latest advanced Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies. At the same time, the new Nissan Patrol retains its exceptional on- and off-road “Go Anywhere” capabilities and class-leading power.

The Nissan Patrol is the icon of Nissan’s SUV heritage, loved by generations of loyal customers since it first debuted in 1951. Known for its durability, reliability, premium design, safety, comfort features and unmatched all-terrain performance, the Patrol remains the flagship of Nissan’s extensive 4x4 lineup. The car holds a special place in the hearts and minds of Middle Eastern customers who value performance even in the toughest of conditions, a key attribute of the Patrol.

Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Babtain Company Automotive GM – Laurent Pernet said, “2019 represents a significant year in the Group’s history, Al Babtain Group celebrated 7 decades of presence in the automotive industry in Kuwait, signifying a symbol of strength and dedication in its business performance and keenness on their customers’ service and satisfaction. Today, represents an important phase for us as we present the reborn of an icon, the new 2020 Nissan Patrol. The Patrol has been a loyal and integral companion to Al Babtain Group since the initial days of its existence: it was first introduced in Kuwait more than 60 years ago and after 6 different generations, Nissan Patrol becomes again an indisputable reference in the Kuwaiti market. It offers the right balance of power and performance for adventure seekers and those in search of luxurious experiences while driving in the city.”

“In 2015, Al Babtain Group opened the first ever Patrol Service Center here in Kuwait, to ensure the quickest and optimal quality service to the Hero of all Terrains owners and to meet the growing demand for this successful model in Kuwait. The service center includes state-of-the-art equipment, Nissan's original spare parts and advanced cleaning facilities.  In 2018, we went a step further, by dedicating 3 locations in our Patrol quick service so we can service Patrols in less than 60 minutes. Dedication to work, quality, and customer satisfaction is the foundation of Al Babtain Group's strategy.” added Laurent Pernet.

Engineered from the wheels up to tackle the most demanding driving conditions on the planet, over the years the Nissan Patrol has more than earned its reputation. Patrol can provide the same outstanding level of comfort cruising on the highway in Kuwait or negotiating rocky mountain terrain.

The Patrol has established itself as one of the most capable vehicles around, with outstanding driving performance, best-in-class engines and advanced Hydraulic Body Motion Control.  With that as a starting point for the new 2020 Patrol, Nissan took all of the aspects of a vehicle that already provided owners with top level comfort, safety and confidence behind the wheel – and made it ever better.

With an increasing popularity, the Patrol’s ruggedly stylish appearance and all-conquering performance has led the model to become an inseparable part of the social and cultural fabric of Kuwait.

Signature design changes for the new Patrol include Nissan’s V-motion grille, interpreted in a new way for SUVs. Along with the new boomerang-shaped LED headlights, the redesigned grille highlights the Patrol’s strong, angular front.

At the rear, the Patrol’s new taillights also sport the boomerang shape. They are seamlessly integrated along with a large chrome nameplate and sequential rear turn indicators, which have been added for the first time on a Nissan vehicle.

Inside, a new centre console incorporates dual displays featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. This ensures customers are always connected and can make the most of their smartphones.

New diamond-stitch quilted leather seats with added padding provide a luxurious feel, as does the new hand-stitched steering wheel. Climate control and powered lumbar support are optionally available for the front seats.

Significant reductions in noise and vibration result in a quieter, more pleasant cabin. Improved cooling and air flow distribution systems lead to quicker cooling, ideal in hot climates.

The new Nissan Patrol also stands out for its extensive suite of advanced safety and security technologies. In addition to the Nissan Intelligent Mobility technologies already available, the new Patrol comes with Intelligent Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection and the Intelligent Forward Collision Warning system.

All-terrain Patrol power is provided by the strongest V6 and V8 engines in the segment. The base 4.0-liter V6 produces 275 horsepower and 394 Nm of torque. The 5.6-liter V8 produces 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.

An All-Mode 4X4 system lets the driver switch modes to handle different on- and off-road conditions. Hydraulic Body Motion Control, available on V8 models, ensures a more comfortable ride thanks to improved suspension and vibration reduction.

Nissan Al Babtain invites customers to visit its showrooms located in Al Rai and Al Ahmadi to discover the dynamic features the new Nissan model has to offer.
