Burgan Bank Participates in the 2nd “Partners to Hire” Employment Forum
Cementing its commitment to investing in Kuwait’s national talents and fostering a culture of inclusivity and equal opportunity
Kuwait, 21 April 2025
Burgan Bank renewed its participation in the second “Partners to Hire” Employment Forum, dedicated to enabling Kuwaiti talents with disabilities in the workplace and paving the way for their sustainable inclusion in the labor force. The Bank also joined the graduation ceremony held to celebrate the 123 students with disabilities who completed the sixth round of the “Partners to Hire” training program. The event was organized and hosted by the Public Authority for Disability Affairs, under the auspices and in the presence of the Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amathal Al-Huwaila, with the support of leading private and public sector Kuwaiti institutions.
Burgan’s continued support of the national initiative aligns with its dedicated strategies for human capital development and corporate social responsibility (CSR), as well as its commitment to adopting the best environmental, social, and governance (ESG) practices and fostering a culture of equality and inclusion.
“Our community, at Burgan and beyond, is as strong as every individual within it; that’s why we remain committed to supporting all talents across our community, especially those who require special support to accommodate their special needs, ensuring they always have a place to thrive as Burgan family,” said Ms. Ghalia Al-Saleh, Senior Manager – Talent Acquisition at Burgan Bank. “We are utterly delighted to continue participating in and supporting the trailblazing ‘Partners to Hire’ initiative. On behalf of the Burgan Management, I would like to applaud the program graduates on their commendable achievement and wish them continued success in their professional careers.”
Throughout the two-day employment expo, Burgan representatives engaged with the event visitors, introducing them to the Bank’s dynamic work culture, which fosters continuous learning and growth for all employees, regardless of their needs, interests, or aspirations. They also seized the opportunity to share vital banking awareness and financial literacy information with visitors and candidates, in line with the Bank’s steadfast support of the “Let’s Be Aware” (Diraya) campaign – launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) and the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA), with the support of local banks.
In addition to enabling professional talents with disabilities, Burgan Bank also recognizes the daily challenges the wider community with disabilities face. This is why the Bank integrated extra accessibility features across six of its branches in Kuwait, ensuring that all customers’ financial needs are met with ease and convenience. The fully equipped branches in Adaliyah, Bayan, Khaitan, Qurain, Riqqa, and Al-Qusur are designed to cater to customers with physical disabilities, including visual and hearing impairments, in addition to senior customers, with the help of highly qualified staff who are trained to accommodate customers’ special needs.
It serves to note that Burgan Bank remains one of the most proactive national institutions with a commitment to advancing Kuwaiti society on various vital fronts as part of its contribution to realizing the New Kuwait Vision 2035 goals.
