The Saudi Film Commission is set to participate in the 18th edition of Film Bazaar, South Asia’s premier film market, taking place alongside the International Film Festival of India in Goa from November 20-24. As the largest film market in the region, Film Bazaar attracts filmmakers, producers, sales agents, and industry leaders from around the globe, making it a pivotal event for fostering creative and financial collaborations, talent discovery, and international partnerships.

With this presence, the Saudi Film Commission seeks to enhance Saudi Arabia’s footprint in the global film industry and strengthen ties between the Saudi and Indian film sectors. The Commission’s participation aims to open new avenues for collaboration, enabling filmmakers from both nations to explore partnership opportunities and attract international investment. The Saudi pavilion will serve as a central hub, inviting global industry experts and investors to connect with Saudi filmmakers, showcase the Kingdom’s cinematic talent, and explore Saudi Arabia’s potential as a destination for international film production.

The pavilion will feature the latest developments in Saudi cinema, highlighting the Kingdom’s initiatives in film and the rich storytelling landscape of Saudi Arabia. A flagship event titled ‘Saudi Films Work in Progress’ will be a highlight, where Saudi companies will present their latest projects, sharing insights into current productions and fostering potential co-productions with international companies and investors.

This participation underscores the Saudi Film Commission’s ongoing efforts to elevate the Kingdom’s visibility on the world film stage, empowering Saudi talent and creating international production opportunities. Aligned with Vision 2030, the Commission’s engagement at Film Bazaar reflects Saudi Arabia’s commitment to developing a robust film sector that champions cultural diversity, enhances creative exchange, and contributes to a sustainable economy.
