The Kuwaiti delegation at the Paris 2024 Olympics consists of 10 athletes competing in shooting, athletics, sailing, rowing, swimming, and fencing. Among the members of Team Kuwait are several athletes whom Burgan Bank has sponsored as part of the Olympic Athlete Preparation Program as well as in numerous regional and international competitions, including Amal Al Roumi, Yaqoub Al-Youha, and Ebrahim Al-Dhafeeri,.

Burgan Bank’s strategic partnership with KOC follows several efforts throughout the years to engrain the sports culture in Kuwait. These include the Bank’s sponsorship of Tareq Al-Qallaf, Kuwait’s wheelchair fencing world champion, for nine consecutive years, in addition to the Kuwait Equestrian Federation, the Kuwaiti national padel team, and the Kuwait Women’s Football League.
