Kuwait, 30 June 2024: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announced the conclusion of its gold sponsorship and active participation in Tourista Expo 2024, which was recently held at Assima Mall. The travel and tourism exhibition brought together the best travel agencies, travel insurance providers, airlines, travel accessories and products suppliers, local and international hotels, and more to engage with a diverse audience.

Commenting on the occasion, Saifaldin Al-Nasser, Senior Marketing Officer at KIB, said: “We are pleased with our gold sponsorship and participation in Tourista Expo 2024. We are always keen to be present at such prominent events, which provide a distinguished platform that brings together various leaders in this sector under one roof to offer diverse services and great deals for travel enthusiasts.”

KIB's booth at the exhibition witnessed a large turnout of visitors, where the Bank’s team showcased its distinguished suite of services, products and banking solutions. They also encouraged visitors to open an Al Dirwaza account, a savings account based on the Wakala investment principle, which is the best of its kind in the sector, with annual expected profits of up to 2% disbursed on a monthly basis.

Throughout the two-day exhibition, the Bank’s team took the opportunity to promote financial and banking literacy among all segments of society, as part of KIB’s support for the national ‘Let’s Be Aware’ (Diraya) campaign, which was launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait and the Kuwait Banking Association in cooperation with local banks. This initiative aligns with KIB’s commitment to its pioneering role in educating the community about various aspects of the banking sector, which is a fundamental pillar of its comprehensive social responsibility program.

It is worth noting that KIB spares no effort in maintaining its leading position among banking institutions by continuously supporting events and initiatives that have a positive impact on society. The Bank focuses on providing banking services and solutions that enhance the quality of life for community members, achieve sustainable development, and improve customer experiences, in line with its main slogan, ‘Bank for Life.’
