Kuwait, 29 May 2024: In a new tribute to its outstanding performance and its position as a trusted financial partner, Burgan Bank announced that it was voted as the Best Domestic Bank in Kuwait in the 2024 Euromoney Trade Finance Survey. A notable global recognition and benchmark to service excellence, Euromoney’s annual survey gathers and analyses thousands of trade-finance service users’ independent votes to rank and assess their top providers within the domestic, regional, and global markets.

To ensure accurate results and rankings, Euromoney follows a meticulous process in its analysis of the annual Trade Finance Survey, which begins by collecting votes from respondents, who are all users of trade finance services, based on their location, remit, and job function. For the ‘Best in Service’ (CSAT) ranking, the survey analysis applies a 1-5 grading scale, with 1 denoting “poor service” and 5 denoting “very good service”.

Among the aspects of the bank’s service that the survey asks respondents to rate are products, financing, advisory, price and scale, support, and digital offering. The survey also delves into more topics such as market view and the respondents’ evaluation of their company’s performance within the ecosystem it functions.

It serves to note that this accolade comes on the heels of the ‘Quality Recognition Award’ for the year 2023, which Burgan Bank received from J.P. Morgan Chase, in recognition of its consistently high-quality performance. It also follows numerous awards and recognitions that the Bank received in 2023, including the Great Place to Work^® certificate, the Brandon Hall Silver Award for Excellence in Learning in the Flow of Work, as well as the GCC Excellence Award in Recruitment and Development of Nationals.
