Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 28 February 2023:  Riyadh, the capital of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, will be hosting from 12 to 13 June 2023 the second edition of the Global Project Management Forum (GPMF 2023), which is organized by the Project Management Institute-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Chapter (PMI-KSA) in cooperation with Strategic Marketing & Exhibitions. The GPMF 2023 will bring together project management professionals, top industry speakers, decision makers, and thought leaders from around the world.

The second edition of GPMF, which is expected to attract more than 1,000 regional and international participants and will revolve around the theme “Project Management Ecosystem: The Journey to Excellence,” will feature discussions on the latest trends and topics in project management, emerging technologies, and innovation while re-igniting the passion of project managers.

Engineer Badr M. Burshaid, president of PMI-KSA, pointed out that the first edition of the Forum was successful in establishing its position as a global platform for discussing the best practices in the field of project management as well as for exchanging of views on the latest developments in various businesses in the sector. 
Mr. Burshaid said: “GPMF provides an opportunity for institutions and companies to showcase their services, tools, and technologies that support and empower the project ecosystem as well as talk about the best practices and the latest technology research outcomes in the field of project management. This is to ultimately achieve economic growth and diversification in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030, which aims to transition the national economy and introduce the foundations for diversifying the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s sources of income through sustainable development, improved services for the public sector, infrastructure development, and a dynamic tourism sector.”
Key themes

The Forum will explore a wide variety of topics, particularly Giga Projects, Business Acumen and Governance, Ways of Working and Value Chain, Economics, Sustainable Social Impact, Digital Transformation and Execution Technologies, and Power Skills.
Forum features

GPMF 2023 will have five major activities, including a Forum where global and local subject matter experts and speakers will interact through keynotes, fireside chat sessions and panel discussions; Networking and Exhibition, where the latest developments, trends, and technologies in the project management ecosystem and the economy are to be explored; Executive Workshops that will be held a day before the official start of the Forum and will provide an opportunity to learn about the latest topics, skills, hands-on training, and practical application of the project management profession; the Global Project Excellence Awards where the winner of the PMI Saudi Project Management will be recognized; and the Book Signing & Interactive Corner where project management subject matter experts sign copies of their publications.
