PUBG MOBILE and Iraqi Football Association team-up for Lions of Mesopotamia celebration.
 Players can enjoy Lions of Mesopotamia limited-edition items, a football game mode, and more! 
 

Al Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 26, July, 2022 – PUBG MOBILE, one of the world’s most popular mobile games, is officially launching its partnership with the Iraq Football Association, to share their love for the ‘Lions of Mesopotamia’ team. Through this collaboration, PUBG MOBILE’s fans will be able to access special edition items themed around the Iraqi national team, and participate in exciting in-game features, starting from the 22nd of July. 


The team up with the Iraq Football Association is a celebration for PUBG MOBILE’s fans and gaming community in Iraq, and will give players a chance to obtain in-game items, including the Iraq national football kit, to show their support for their team and country. The game also adds exclusive items including Avatar Frames of Lions of Mesopotamia, Jersey of Lions of Mesopotamia, Parachute of Mesopotamia, signed football jerseys and more. Players can win the items for free in the lucky draw, after participating in a special football mini game mode. The tie-up will also include a football-themed PUBG MOBILE tournament.


The Iraqi national team is known for its passionate fanbase, and the Lions of Mesopotamia is seen as a symbol of hope and unity to the Iraqi people. The team won the West Asian Championship in 2002, and the AFC Asian Cup of 2007. The Iraqi national team was listed as the National Team of the Year by the AFC and was also listed as the World Team of the Year by World Soccer. The Lions of Mesopotamia have established themselves as a footballing powerhouse. 


PUBG MOBILE works continuously to bring the best of entertainment and gaming experiences to its players in the region. Recently, PUBG MOBILE collaborated with renowned Iraqi singer Saif Nabeel. This collaboration allows the brand to tap into the Arab – specifically Iraqi – sports industry, marking an important milestone for PUBG MOBILE.
