Mastering proficiency in the English language to score higher and succeed in varying degrees of life

Kuwait, 18 August 2019:   Owing to growing demand for IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in the country, the British Council, one of the co-creators of IELTS, is offering the world’s most widely recognised English proficiency test. Backed by acceptance from worldwide universities, British Council helps participants reach the required level through training in four sections: reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.

British Council has deployed internationally trained English experts adept in IELTS exams, to help students learn test-taking strategies to help maximise their test results, receive feedback on individual strengths and areas needing improvement through practice tasks. As the Ministry of Higher Education is open for scholarships presently, students can use the opportunity to advance themselves to receive the required scores. Teenagers or adults interested in pursuing diverse prospects can apply under different levels ranging from pre-intermediate, intermediate and upper-intermediate, depending on the stage of proficiency required.

The IELTS Academic test measures whether one has the level of English language proficiency needed for an academic environment. Additionally, it reflects some of the features of the academic language and assesses whether they are ready to begin studying or training. British Council encourages individuals to take the test if they want to study at an undergraduate level anywhere in the world, apply for Tier 4 Student Visa at a university or work in a professional organisation.

Moreover, one can choose between paper-based or computer-delivered IELTS Academic for added convenience backed by the option of several dates to choose from and quicker response on results than any other. British Council is committed to providing all with the support needed to acquire the essential test results, through the provision of free unlimited access to ‘Road to IELTS’ Last Minute course.

The course includes nine videos which gives advice and tutorials, 100 interactive activities and two IELTS Academic practice tests for each of the four skills. Accommodating every step of the education journey, participants can find preparation materials such as videos and online lessons, as well as preparation books, face-to-face courses, seminars and workshops.

‘‘IELTS opens doors to new opportunities worldwide and enhances everyone’s capabilities to perform on a higher degree in their respective workplaces and schools.  Our globally certified instructors are equipped with the necessary coaching skills to develop the students aptitude for a universally recognised and mandatory language, that will set them apart for the future, ’’ said British Council Country Director of Kuwait, Michael Gordon.

Group classes will be held twice a week for the 35 hours IELTS Preparation course and for the IELTS Intensive courses classes, it will be held daily for four days a week. Students are provided with two options wherein they can either apply to August course which runs from 22 to 31 August 2019 for the 30-hour course or opt for the 10 hours IELTS Intensive courses which occurs every week, for 10 hours throughout the month of August. Students can apply for the exams directly after completing their preparation course.

Ensuring easier and quicker access, individuals interested in applying for the IELTS test can now pay online for their IELTS Test using their master/visa credit card.
