Al Hamra Launches On-site Vaccination for all its Employees in Cooperation with the Ministry of Health

Kuwait, 18 May, 2021: Driven to achieving Kuwait’s community's immunity, Al Hamra Real Estate Company, the leading company in real estate management, recently launched a vaccination campaign for all its employees, including Al Hamra Real Estate Management and Shopping Center personnel, to curb the spread of the novel coronavirus.


Aimed at providing optimal health and safety, Al Hamra Real Estate Company partnered with the Ministry of Health’s field vaccination team for the COVID-19 vaccination drive which helped inoculate a total of 1,000 personnel along with staff members of Al Hamra Shopping Center following their pre-registration for the vaccine on the Ministry of Health’s online website. The initiative was launched due to the nature of its employees's direct interaction with customers and tenants in the Shopping Center and Business Tower which serves over 6,000 tenants across several governmental, diplomatic & international bodies, and visitors who come in contact with the management’s employees.


Speaking about this campaign, the Chief Administrative Officer - CAO of Al Hamra Real Estate Company, Mrs. Abrar Abdulaziz Al Habeeb announced: “Since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, Al Hamra Real Estate Company had sought to adopt the highest safety standards. Stemming from its commitment to social responsibility principles and its role within the society, the company preserves the health and safety of its  employees and customers equally to achieve a solid and sustainable partnership with the community. Today, the company reinforces its core values and mission towards building a healthy and safe work environment through the launch of the employee vaccination campaign, held in cooperation with the Ministry of Health who has supported the cause tremendously nationwide.”  


She also added: “The drive to administer the vaccine at our premises was to maintain our employees’ quality of life, ensure they enjoy better health and protection, in addition to simplifying their process of getting the vaccine. The vaccination campaign was organized within the guidelines stipulated by the concerned health bodies in Kuwait, who continue to encourage community members to get the Covid-19 vaccine.” 
With the vaccination campaign set in motion, the Director of the Central Department for Primary Healthcare and the Head of Mobile Vaccination campaign at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Dina Al-Dhabib, explained: “On the third day of the Ministry of Health’s mobile vaccination campaign launch targeting workers at commercial complexes in Kuwait, employees of the Shopping Center were inoculated, as well as the staff working at Al Hamra Real Estate Company. We were able to vaccinate a 1,000 employees during the day thanks to the efforts of two mobile field units. The campaign included doctors, nurses and paramedics and was organized in coordination with Al Hamra Real Estate Management.” 

Al Hamra Real Estate Company continues to safeguard against the virus by sterilizing the buildings and facilities daily, in addition to applying a number of preventive and precautionary measures for employees and customers, in accordance to the instructions outlined by the Ministry of Health and the specialized bodies in Kuwait. A special health, safety and protection task force oversee the facilities’ sanitization processes along with the stringent implementation of health guidelines by all visitors, tenants, and employees in both the Business Tower and the Shopping Center.

Arising from its social responsibility and as an active member of the community, Al Hamra Real Estate Company believes in fostering a sense of initiative among all community members’ and unifying efforts in the battle against the persistent virus. Al Hamra Real Estate Company urges everyone to hurry and register for the vaccine appointment on the designated site and protect themselves and their families to revive the country and return to normal life.
