Gillette® Middle East Launches Its First of Its Kind Heated Razor
The new Heated Razor by GilletteLabs boasts a host of innovative and advanced features to reimagine shaving experiences for users across the UAE
26, October 2020: Gillette Middle East is proud to announce the release in the UAE of the world’s first heated shaving product, the Heated Razor by GilletteLabs. Available across the six The Art of Shaving stores in the UAE and online on theartofshaving.ae , the high-tech device promises to deliver newfound value to consumers. The razor provides an uninterrupted heat sensation thanks to its specially created warming bar, enabling users to experience the soothing pleasure of a hot towel shave with every stroke. The first-of-its-kind Heated Razor is the debut innovation from the newly established GilletteLabs premium division and has already succeeded in setting the benchmark for releases that will follow in the years ahead.
“Across the UAE and wider region, today’s consumers share a common interest as they search for the most luxurious products that comprise the latest technologies, boost appearances, offer comfort, and ensure complete satisfaction,” said Tarek Abdelaziz, Senior Director and Commercial Leader, Gillette Middle East and Africa. “Grooming has emerged as a personal necessity for countless people in recent years, and shaving is a fundamental part of this process. Luxury is equally important for both genders, and the Heated Razor by GilletteLabs will reimagine the art of shaving through the winning combination of immediate pleasure and brilliant outcomes.”
The capabilities of the new Heated Razor go way beyond ensuring a comfortable shave, empowering all who shave like never before thanks to several key features. Besides the stainless steel warming bar and the thinnest and finest blades ever, temperate levels are also adjustable. With the push of a button, everybody can switch between two heat levels to achieve optimal comfort according to individual preference. Four intelligent heat sensors maintain the desired warmth, and built-in safety technology automatically prevents overheating.
Gillette understands that convenience is just as important as comfort and this is why the wireless magnetic charging dock has been designed – to ensure charging the razor can be done with the same ease as putting it down. The lithium-ion battery lasts for as many as six shaves depending on usage so shaving can be done on-the-go. At the same time, the authentically designed sleek handle adds a welcome element of sophistication to the razor’s overall look and feel. The razor is 100 per cent waterproof and caters to every facial curve with FlexDisc technology.
