Under the Theme of “Your Will Makes the Difference” 

Kuwait – 18 October 2020:  Burgan Bank launched an awareness campaign under the slogan 'Your Will Makes the difference' as part of its annual efforts for the Breast Cancer Awareness Month that falls on October of each year. This campaign comes as part of the bank's endeavors to continually support a healthy lifestyle despite the current pandemic. 

The Internal Communications Unit at Burgan Bank shared awareness and educational messages for all female employees emphasizing the benefits of a nutritional diet and regular exercises alongside information on breast cancer. The initiative aided in raising awareness of the symptoms, types, causes, risks, treatment, and prevention methods of the disease.

Burgan Bank is driven to developing an inclusive and supportive internal environment for the bank’s female employees, who represent 43% of the bank’s staff., Everyone is encouraged to provide a helping hand, and through sharing their experience and working to spread awareness, we fight this common challenge together.  Burgan Bank places health and well-being among its top priorities in giving back to its community, and has continued its efforts of raising awareness during Breast Cancer Awareness Month for many years.Burgan Bank's support of this initiative falls under its dynamic full-fledged community program entitled ‘ENGAGE’ – Together to be the change.
