Fury makes his WWE debut at the event when he takes on Braun Strowman, while Saudi-born Mansoor is fighting Cesaro

Riyadh, Saudia Arabia, Sunday 27th October:  Boxing superstar Tyson Fury has given Saudi Arabian WWE hero Mansoor the seal of approval ahead of the massive Crown Jewel show in Riyadh on Thursday. 

Both are on the card – Fury against Braun Strowman and Mansoor against Cesaro with tickets still available.

Fury said: “I’ve been very impressed with Mansoor and the way in which he has risen through the WWE ranks, he looks in really good shape and I’m sure he will give his legions of fans in Riyadh something to cheer on Thursday.

“He’s fighting Cesaro who is somebody I have a bit of history with after I knocked him out on RAW, so come on Mansoor, I’ll be rooting for him at Crown Jewel.
“For Mansoor to be having his first really big fight in Saudi, where he was born, is something really special. He will have lots of friends and family in the crowd and I’m sure it will be a very proud moment for him. I hope he can enjoy it and get the victory.

“I’m really looking forward to being involved at Crown Jewel. I’ve always been a massive WWE fan. Stone Cold Steve Austin is my favourite wrestler, he had serious game, and Triple H has given me some good advice. He basically told me to be myself, enjoy it and have fun, because if you’re not enjoying it than what’s the point?”
