Al Hamra Continues Its Mission to Create Lasting Memories for the Children's Home

Kuwait, 23 May 2019:   Al Hamra Real Estate Co., a leader in real estate development and management, recently hosted its Girgean event under the umbrella theme of nationwide initiative ‘Spread the Joy’, in collaboration with the Children’s Home, an orphanage managed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor. The event combined engaging and exciting activities to drive a memorable experience for the little girls and boys. 

Reflecting the true spirit of the Ramadan season and rich Kuwaiti culture, the one-of-a-kind program returned to share good tidings with the less fortunate, reiterating the brand’s warm hospitality and compassion. Conveying messages of love and support during the event, the orphan girls, and boys aged between 3-17 years, enjoyed fun-filled agenda of games, entertainment, and gifts that brought smiles all around.

Abdullah Al Mansour, the Marketing and Public Relations Manager at Al Hamra Real Estate Co., said:” Following last year’s successful campaign that included the involvement of likeminded entities in Kuwait, we were encouraged to continue this wonderful initiative to raise awareness about vulnerable groups and spread happiness.

This event was just the start of many more activities to come for the year ahead – 2018 inspired the children’s creativity and showcased their talent to the people of Kuwait. We intend to pursue different platforms that will benefit their growth and development such as edutainment, sports, music and many more.”
He added, “Girgean is a joyous occasion for our nation’s children and so, they deserve to feel a sense of belonging amidst a supportive community. Deeply rooted in the rich cultural heritage of Kuwait, we hope to maintain and grow our local platforms as an active and responsible member of the society.”

‘Spread the Joy’ campaign is part of Al Hamra Real Estate Co.’s established CSR Strategy to invest in the long term sustainability of local communities and promote value–empowerment through inclusion.
