Kuwait, 1 June 2024: Kuwait International Bank (KIB) announced that its Eidiya service will be available across its nationwide network of branches and ATMs in the lead-up to Eid Al-Adha. This annual initiative aligns with the initiative launched by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) in collaboration with the Kuwait Banking Association (KBA) on the same occasion. The revival of the Eidiya service further confirms the Bank’s commitment to offering a wide range of banking services and solutions that fulfill its customers’ needs and guarantee they enjoy a convenient and rewarding banking experience. The initiative also comes under KIB’s expansive social responsibility program.

On this occasion, Faisal Al-Shuwaired, Assistant General Manager of the Retail Banking Department at KIB, said: “We are delighted to be among the first to greet the Kuwaiti government and people on the occasion of Eid Al-Adha, and what better way to celebrate than to uphold our steadfast commitment to offering our customers banking products and services that are tailored to suit their needs and match their modern lifestyles. We are fully aware of the importance of making the Eidiya service available for our customers no matter where in Kuwait they are, noting that this initiative is one of many that bring us closer to our community as it allows us to share their celebrations during these blessed annual festivities.”

He added: “This vital initiative enables our customers to conveniently withdraw cash in all denominations, including KD 1, KD 5, KD 10, and KD 20, to give out as Eidiya to children, preserving one of the primary traditional features of Eid celebrations in Kuwait.”
