Burgan Bank Sponsors “Umm Kulthum with Marwa Nagy” Concert in Partnership with NCIG
Cementing its role as a champion of arts and entertainment advancement in Kuwait
Kuwait, 9 May 2024: Burgan Bank recently announced its sponsorship of the “Umm Kulthum with Marwa Nagy” concert, marking the beginning of the Bank’s strategic partnership with the National Creative Industries Group (NCIG). The concert is scheduled to take place on May 29-30 at the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmed Cultural Centre, with tickets now available for sale on the Centre’s website and application. This comes as part of Burgan’s dedicated social responsibility program and its unwavering commitment to the advancement of Kuwait’s arts and entertainment sector.

In addition to the musical acts, the show also incorporates performative acts that walk the audience through some of the megastar’s milestones and introduce a number of key figures who played influential roles to her professional success.”
Marwa Nagy, who plays Umm Kulthum and performs her songs, is an Egyptian actor and singer in the Egyptian Opera House.Marwa has participated in numerous acclaimed shows and is most notably known for performing Umm Kulthum’s songs in several regional and international music festivals. The show is also led by the Egyptian conductor, Ehab Abdel-Hamid.
