As part of the Bank’s comprehensive Ramadan campaign “Do Good”
  

Kuwait, 9 April 2023: In celebration of the holy month, Kuwait International Bank (KIB) launched the “Do Good and Honor Your Neighbor” initiative as part of its month-long Ramadan campaign, “Do Good”, which comes under the umbrella of the Bank’s overarching social responsibility program. The initiative manifests the Bank’s commitment to the values and morals that permeate and define the Kuwaiti society. It also acts as an open invitation for the KIB community to practice and spread goodness during Ramadan. 

Realizing the importance of cohesion and solidarity for the prosperity of any society, KIB dedicated the first week of Ramadan and the “Do Good and Honor Your Neighbor” activities to encouraging the community to uphold respect, kindness, and compassion in their everyday interactions with their neighbors and the wider circles of society. This entailed offering food supplies to neighboring entities and institutions surrounding the KIB branches spread out across Kuwait.
On this occasion, Abdulaziz Al-Thawab, Marketing and Corporate Communications Specialist at KIB, said: “The holy month of Ramadan holds a dear place in all of our hearts at KIB, both staff and customers, for it is a reminder to come together as one and put our collective needs before our individual aspirations. Entwined with our deeply rooted values and ethics as a Kuwaiti people, we were inspired to launch the “Do Good” campaign, which dedicates all possible resources to promoting activities of selflessness and giving. The first week of Ramadan witnessed the unfolding of the campaign’s first wave of activities and initiatives that deliver the Ramadan spirit and values in a creative and engaging manner.”

In a bid to engage the Bank’s employees with all circles of society and to spread Ramadan goodness, KIB staff were present at the neighboring entities and institutions, personally delivering the food supplies and upholding the KIB spirit and values through every interaction. The staff’s participation in all social and humane activities is set to extend throughout the month of Ramadan, spreading joy and instilling KIB’s organizational commitment to spreading goodness and engaging with all strata of society.

It serves to note that the Ramadan initiative is a continuation to KIB’s overarching social responsibility program which aims to fulfill the Bank’s strategy through positively impacting the lives of the Bank’s community, including staff, customers, and other beneficiaries. As a proactive member of the community, KIB continues to design and organize a wide range of activities, events, and initiatives that aim to uplift the many circles of Kuwaiti society, enabling them to grow on multiple fronts.
