7 April 2023 - Viu, PCCW’s leading pan-regional over-the-top (“OTT”) video streaming service, has strengthened its collaboration with Zain, Kuwait’s leading operator and digital service provider, to offer a complimentary Viu Premium subscription to active customers on selected plans of Zain’s all-new home broadband MAX offerings. 

This collaboration marks a significant milestone in Viu’s relationship with Zain Kuwait, offering customers the opportunity to experience the platform’s content that caters to diverse audiences with complete and ad-free access to Viu Premium, Arabic Original series, Korean and Turkish content.

Viewers not subscribed to Zain Kuwait’s MAX offerings can access the Viu Premium service for 2 KWD per month via direct carrier billing on their postpaid or prepaid plans.
