Kuwait, August 26, 2021:  Burgan Bank has recently celebrated the graduation of 28 direct sales employees, following their successful completion of the two-week induction training program designed to familiarize them with the bank’s culture, operations as well as the banking industry’s essential knowledge, skills and best practices. 

The program, prepared and delivered by the Learning & Talent Development Department, aims at providing the new Burganers with the necessary knowledge and practical experience prior to engaging in their duties in the bank. The training’s extensive courses introduce the participants to various banking fundamentals including selling skills and excellence in customer service. The trainees were introduced to Burgan’s products and services in addition to the corporate culture foundations and values. The training material will enable the new employees to smoothly engage in the banking world and to adequately support the customers to maintain successful banking operations, customers satisfaction and high-quality service standards. 

At the end of the program, Mrs Fatma Ahmad, the Learning & Talent Development Assistant Manager said “At Burgan Bank, we are in relentless pursuit of developing our employees’ knowledge and skills to keep pace with the emerging market trends and the changing banking industry needs. Throughout the training sessions, we were keen to deploy advanced training techniques and effective learning methods to equip the direct sales employees with the required expertise and practical skills to succeed in their role at the Bank.”

The training was effectively and successfully delivered thanks to the joint efforts of Burgan trainers and the Banking Services Department team, who diligently support all the initiatives organized by the Human Resources Group and the Learning & Talent Development Department”, Mrs. Ahmad added.

Commenting the program, Mrs. Siham Al Kharayef, Learning & Talent Development Specialist said “Burgan’s induction program meets modern training needs for direct sales employees to help them successfully complete their day-to-day operations. Combining theoretical and practical approaches, the orientation courses aim at introducing the new joiners to the Bank’s products, services and operations as well as enhancing their technical skills and overall understanding of customer service. The program was concluded by an assessment to evaluate the trainees learning outcomes.”
