Continued recognition for its efforts to develop some of the safest cars on the road

Kuwait, 25 January 2020:   Abdulmohsen Abdulaziz Al Babtain Co. (AABC), the sole authorized dealer of Infiniti vehicles in the State of Kuwait, prides itself in ensuring the highest level of safety across its models. 

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) ranked the INFINITI Q50 and INFINITI Q70 as top choices in its 2018 list of recommended vehicles for teens. With this distinction, INFINITI maintained to receive high marks for safety as well as used car choices. INFINITI's sports sedan offers a luxurious drive with a grounded feel and a Predictive Forward Collision Warning and Forward Emergency Braking, as well as a variety of available driver assist technologies while the Q70 features LED lights and advanced technologies, such as Backup Collision Intervention, Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection. 

The 2019 INFINITI QX50 earned a 5-star overall safety rating from National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Both the Intelligent All-Wheel drive and front-wheel drive versions of the INFINITI QX50 were recognized by NHTSA for their safety performance. Available on the 2019 QX50 is ProPILOT Assist, which is designed to help with single-lane highway driving and primarily leverages two technologies: Lane Keep Assist, which helps to center the QX50 in the lane; and Advanced Intelligent Cruise Control that monitors speed and distance to the vehicle to automatically adjust the speed and adapt to a full speed range in traffic.

It was also named a 2019 Consumer Guide “Best Buy” in the Premium Compact Crossover category. For 2020, QX50 enhances its high level of versatility, efficiency and performance with the addition of two new grade levels at the top of the lineup – the QX50 AUTOGRAPH and QX50 SENSORY. Also for 2020, a number of safety, security and driver assistance features become standard on all grade levels, including Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Automatic Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and High Beam Assist. 

The 2019 INFINITI QX60 luxury crossover was also awarded Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), as well as a 5-star overall vehicle safety rating as part of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's (NHTSA) New Car Assessment Program (NCAP). Standard on all QX60 models is a breakthrough technology designed especially for active families – Rear Door Alert. The new Rear Door Alert system, first introduced on the 2018 QX60, helps remind customers of things that may be forgotten in the rear seat, such as pets, valuables, dry cleaning, groceries and more.

Other available driver assist technologies include: Around View Monitor with Moving Object Detection; Lane Departure Warning and Lane Departure Prevention; Backup Collision Intervention; Blind Spot Intervention; and Intelligent Cruise Control (Full-Speed Range). Also offered are the advanced Predictive Forward Collision Warning system and Forward Emergency Braking with pedestrian detection.
