Abdullah Alotaibi: 

Abdullah is a painter, sculptor and etcher. His research investigates abstraction and representation of human emotions, dreams and ambitions.

Ahmad Alholi: 

Ahmad is a digital illustrator with an architectural background. His research focuses on local botany, environmental understanding and anthropological interpretation of nature.

Asrae Yazdani: 

Asrae explores the potential of calligraphy beyond the written tradition. Her mixed-media paintings shed light on the Kereshmeh style, where composition and form merge.

Husain Albanay: 

Husain is a realist painter and sculptor. His artwork aims to depict Kuwait’s notable figures who contributed to the nation’s history and modernization.

Meshari Alnajjar: 

Meshari works with digital illustrations and mixed-media. His work emphasizes life cycles of buildings, whose stories encompass urban, social, and cultural facets of Kuwait.

Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre’s New Batch of Local Resident Artists 

 showcase past masterpieces and discuss future works. Continuing to foster a local sense of creative community and dialogue, Sheikh Abdullah Al Salem Cultural Centre’s Artist-in-Residence programme now includes  Abdullah Alotaibi, Ahmad Alholi, Asrae Yazdani, Husain Albanay and Meshari Alnajjar.
