INTELLIGENT CRUISE CONTROL: TRANSFORM TRAFFIC
Set your pace with Intelligent Cruise Control, an INFINITI Safety Shield® system designed to respond to fluctuating traffic. As the vehicle ahead slows, the system lowers your speed to maintain your desired distance. When the way clears, it resumes your set cruising speed, so you can glide forward with ease. Set your preferred distance at any time, selecting a long, medium or short interval. Using laser sensors, your vehicle monitors traffic to preserve the space. As you move, the system moderates your distance according to the vehicle ahead. When the pace is faster, it extends the distance. When traffic slows, it matches the speed of the car in front. 

With Intelligent Cruise Control available in the INFINITI Q50, Q60, QX60, and QX80, the vehicles can intuitively respond to what’s ahead and give even greater flexibility, the system includes a standard cruise control setting. Perfect when you want to set your speed and soar.

PERSONALIZED PERFORMANCE DIRECT ADAPTIVE STEERING
We created Direct Adaptive Steering, the world’s first digital steering system. Experience quick, precision-sharp handling tuned to your exact preferences. With such effortless response, there’s a feeling of transcendence at every turn. Direct Adaptive Steering allows you to customize your drive with three selectable steering modes. Choose Heavy, Standard or Light to meet the requirements of the road or satisfy your mood. FIRMLY MOVING FORWARD: ACTIVE LANE CONTROL
The active Lane Control keeps a watchful eye on the road ahead, monitoring lane markers and evaluating the conditions, this system makes fine adjustments to your steering, so you can glide forward with a feeling of control. Active Lane Control available in the INFINITI Q50 and Q60 sees with a discreet camera located above the rearview mirror. With Active Lane Control, road imperfections and windy conditions no longer intrude on your driving experience. By tempering the need for manual steering corrections, the system reduces driver fatigue, empowering you to experience your journey with remarkable steadiness. 

AROUND VIEW® MONITOR WITH MOVING OBJECT DETECTION: GAIN GREATER PERSPECTIVE

What you drive should enhance how you see the world. The Around View Monitor elevates your parking perspective, so you can see more clearly as you manoeuvre in even the tightest spaces. With Moving Object Detection available in the INFINITI Q50, Q60, QX50, QX60, and QX80, you’re instantly alerted if something enters your vehicle’s surrounding area. Using four discreet cameras, the Around View Monitor gives you a virtual 360° bird’s eye view of your vehicle. To cover every angle, the system also comes equipped with corner sonar sensors, mounted to the front and rear bumpers. When they detect an object moving in your path, an audible alert sounds as a warning appears on-screen. Moving Object Detection is the latest addition to the Around View® System - It detects motion around the front, back and sides of your vehicle. 

BACKUP COLLISION INTERVENTION: MORE CONFIDENT IN REVERSE
Available in the Q50, Q60, QX60 and QX80, extend your vision with Backup Collision Intervention, an INFINITI Safety Shield® system is designed to heighten your awareness as you reverse. It senses what might sit beyond your line of sight, bringing potential risks to your attention and applying the brakes if impact is imminent. This pioneering technology detects crossing traffic as well as large stationary objects. When the system senses an approaching vehicle, you receive an audible alert and see a flashing light indicating its direction. As the oncoming vehicle gets closer, you hear and see an additional alert, so you can react in an instant. 

PREDICTIVE SAFETY TECHNOLOGIES
Available in the INFINITI Q50, Q60, QX60, QX80, the vehicle should help you anticipate what’s down the road with the Predictive Forward Collision Warning. You can see what’s happening two vehicles ahead. If traffic slows suddenly, Forward Emergency Braking takes over, automatically decelerating so you have more time to react. Available as part of the INFINITI Safety Shield®. Predictive Forward Collision Warning monitors the vehicle directly ahead of you and the one beyond it. Sensing velocity and distance, this world’s first technology alerts you to potential risks with audible and visual cues, allowing you to predict any sudden movements. 

LANE DEPARTURE WARNING AND PREVENTION: MAINTAIN YOUR LANE

An industry first, it is designed to enhance rather than override your control - INFINITI Safety Shield® technologies enable the lane Departure Prevention alerts if you begin to drift towards the divider lines. Then, if an unintended lane change is imminent, Lane Departure Prevention takes over, gently guiding you back into position. Available in the INFINITI Q50, Q60, QX60 and QX80, the lane Departure Warning uses a discreet camera near the rearview mirror to track the distance between vehicles and lane markings. It senses if you begin to move across without signalling, sounding an alert so you can swiftly adjust. It gently taps select brakes, helping you ease your vehicle back to the centre of your lane.
